Brooke Stemple

Brooke Stemple got her BS from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in environmental science and biology and is now a PhD graduate of the Bibby lab studying environmental engineering. Her research utilizes metagenomics and other molecular biology techniques to investigate the effects of geological carbon sequestration (storage) on subsurface biogeochemistry and microbial communities. In her spare time she enjoys running and podcasting often at the same time!
