Graduate Student, Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering & Earth Sciences
Andrei is a biotechnology engineer from Costa Rica, where he worked for several years at the Costa Rican Water and Sewage Authority before coming to Notre Dame. His research interests lie at the intersection between water quality, environment, and public health, mainly in places with poor access to sanitation and/or adequate drinking water treatment. He spends most of his free time birdwatching and photographing wildlife. Andrei also enjoys brewing specialty coffee and playing table tennis.
