Sarah is a postdoctoral research associate coming from the University of Washington School of Public Health in Seattle where she received her PhD in Environmental Health. During her PhD, she completed a US Fulbright Student Research Fellowship in Lisbon, Portugal. Her PhD research focused on wastewater surveillance for infectious diseases and she is excited to continue working in this area with the Wastewater Surveillance RCN. She has a BS in Biological Sciences from the University of Notre Dame (’16) and a MS in Global Health from Duke University (’18). In her free time, Sarah enjoys exploring Seattle’s many coffee shops and escaping to the mountains.
