Xijiao Wang

Xijiao is a PhD student who graduated with a master’s degree in environmental engineering from Michigan State University. Her research centers on Wastewater-based Epidemiology (WBE), with a focus on detecting viruses in wastewater to monitor and predict public health trends, particularly in relation to infectious diseases. This work is integral to understanding and mitigating the spread of disease in communities. Outside of her research, Xijiao enjoys baking, cooking, and spending quality time with her cats.
