Kevin Vu is a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering and Earth Sciences at University of Notre Dame. He is an environmental consultant/engineer with over 6-year experience in Environment, Health and Safety, water/wastewater treatment, soil remediation, and air pollution control. His current research involves the development of methodologies to exclude free nucleic acids from environmental metagenomes. Outside the lab, he is interested in travelling, hiking, and playing soccer with friends.
