Dr. Olivia Ginn is a post doctorate originally from Atlanta where she completed her undergrad (BSEnvE 2016) and PhD (EnvE 2021) at Georgia Tech. She is an environmental engineer with a bit of microbiology, public health, and environmental science sprinkled in. While her PhD work primarily focused on antibiotic resistance and enteric pathogens in extramural bioaerosols in cities with poor sanitation, Olivia is interested in expanding the scope of her research towards environmental engineering applications in ecology. Outside of research, Olivia enjoys honing her thrifting skills, chasing wildlife and most importantly obsessing over her pets.
