The Water Research Foundation invite researchers, public health agencies, utilities, and consultants interested in wastewater surveillance to attend.
Join The Water Research Foundation as we facilitate the initial kickoff meeting of the National Science Foundation-funded Research Coordination Network on SARS-CoV-2 Wastewater Surveillance. There has been significant public and researcher interest in SARS-CoV-2 wastewater surveillance in monitoring COVID-19 presence and prevalence within communities. However, despite its potential and the excitement surrounding applications of SARS-CoV-2 wastewater surveillance, critical research questions remain. The goal of the Research Coordination Network is to connect researchers with key stakeholders to rapidly advance the science of SARS-CoV-2 wastewater surveillance. The meeting will include an introduction to Research Coordination Network activities and several lightning talks that will provide an overview of the status of the SARS-CoV-2 wastewater surveillance field.
