A postdoctoral scholar is sought for the GERM Lab at the University of Notre Dame under Dr. Kyle Bibby. The position will investigate methodologies to exclude relic DNA and RNA from metagenomic sequencing datasets, as well as other metagenomic sequencing method development. Applicants should have a doctoral degree in environmental engineering, public health, environmental microbiology, chemical engineering, or a related field. Candidates of all backgrounds are encouraged to apply. The appointment will be for one year and is renewable dependent upon performance and availability of grant funds.
